Today we had the pleasure of traveling to Little Angels Service Dogs facility in Santee, Ca, near San Diego. Their office is nestled in the coastal hills just south of the Sycamore Canyon Country Park. We were able to meet with Chris who is a skilled trainer at this organization. We arrived with lots of questions, and Chris had all of the answers. The point of our trip today was to view the facility before we finalized our decision, and we can tell you with confidence we are 100% about Little Angel’s Service Dogs. Chris brought a few dogs in for Lilly to play with; Trixy was her favorite!
When the time comes Lilly and Ashley will be spending 14 consecutive days in Handler Training at the facility. This will include outings around the San Diego area, trips to stores, and other public places. Not only does the dog received training, so do we!
We had planned to take pictures on our trip, but we were so wrapped up in our surroundings that we did not. We can’t wait to share more, and we will as soon as possible. Stay Tuned, we will keep you all updated about our next step in this process!
